Join us at the Community Centre for a Photography Workshop on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Our goal is to improve our photography skills, expand our knowledge, and meet others who share our passion. Occasionally we may head outside to do some walk-about field trips. Your facilitators are Roy Allen and Warren Lowe from Green Lake. Photographers of all levels are welcome, and it doesn't matter what kind of imaging tool you are using, be it a smart phone, Ipad, point-and-shoot, or an interchangeable lens camera. Guests - $5.00 and agree to the waiver. Members - free
Bring your ATV, SXS or Dirt bike - Ride to the 5 checkpoints and collect playing cards to make a poker hand. Entry fee is Members $10, and guests $15. The initial entry fee gets you one poker hand sheet. You will have the option to buy up to 2 more hand sheets ($10 each) before you head out, for a max total of 3 poker hands. You can also buy max 2 more cards for each of your hands once you return. (1 extra card/$2, or 2 extra cards/$5., for each hand) Entry fee and extra hands and cards are cash only. When you're done, we will record your best poker hand. Half the cash goes to the winner (or winners in case of a tie). The other half goes to the Community Center to help pay the bills. Prizes and Fun for all! Burgers and hot dogs etc will be for sale via donation. The ride should take around 2 hrs. Be sure to bring some cash if you wish to buy extra hands and cards!
